Christina Alfonso-Ercan Christina is a global leader in ESG strategy with over 20 years of investment experience across North America, Europe, and Latin America. For the last 12 years, she has advised top global fund managers, family offices and Fortune 100 companies on sustainable strategies and ESG integration. Christina is a two-time ESG entrepreneur, most recently serving as Cofounder and CFO of Novata, a PE-backed technology platform that provides ESG measurement, data collection, and reporting for the private markets. Prior to Novata, from 2012 to 2020, Christina served as Cofounder and CEO of Madeira Global, one of the pioneer ESG advisory and reporting firms serving the private equity and private credit markets.
Christina holds an M.B.A. from ESADE Business School in Barcelona and a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Fordham University. She has served on the advisory boards of PathNorth, Cimbria Capital, Milken Institute, Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, and the Centre for Social Innovation. In 2021, she was elected as a fellow of the prestigious Herndon Directors Institute, a nonprofit committed to ensuring diverse board representation.
