Tony Parker is the founder and President of Parker Tide and he leads the strategic direction and overall management of the company.
Tony is on the Board of and Chairman of the Audit Committee of NASDAQ listed companies Gladstone Capital (GLAD), Gladstone Investment (GAIN), Gladstone Commercial (GOOD) and Gladstone Land (LAND).
Tony was the four-term elected Treasurer of the Republican National Committee from 2011 to 2019. He was a member and the former Vice Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the U. S. Naval Academy and is a former Board Member of the Bishop Walker School for Boys in Anacostia.
He is a Vietnam Veteran, a former U.S. Naval officer, received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College, and his J.D. and Masters in Tax Law from Georgetown Law Center. Tony has over 35 years experience in law, finance, and human resources.
Claire Buchan Parker is a veteran strategic communications professional. Prior to establishing her own public relations consulting firm in 2009, Claire served three U.S. Presidents and led corporate communications at two Fortune 500 companies.
Claire is president of CB Communications, a boutique public relations firm that provides communications counsel and public affairs programs to companies, trade associations, and individuals. The firm offers a wide range of services – from public affairs strategy and issues management to crisis communications and media relations. The firm’s current or previous clients include: former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, two Blackstone portfolio companies; Walmart; the American Chemistry Council; Grocery Manufacturers Association; the Government of Ethiopia; and others.
Previously, Claire served for four years as Deputy White House Press Secretary and Deputy Assistant to the President. In that role she worked closely with the President, Cabinet members and senior White House staff to formulate messages and media strategy. She dealt daily with high profile media on issues such as the 9/11 attacks, two wars, Enron and the financial scandals, three economic stimulus packages, energy policy, and criminal justice. She then served as Chief of Staff at the Commerce Department where she led a team responsible for strategic counseling, crisis communications, media relations, speechwriting, business outreach and policy development.
Claire has extensive corporate experience. She served as Vice President for Public Strategy and later Vice President for Communications at Fortune 200 Constellation Energy, and as Vice President for Communications at Fortune 500 The ServiceMaster Company.
She served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Public Affairs under President George H.W. Bush. Prior to that, she was Deputy Communications Director at the International Trade Administration during the Reagan Administration and worked on Capitol Hill.
