Gary Ambrosino is CEO of GlobalVetLink, the leading digital animal health company. GVL makes software that automates the process for veterinarians in preparing and electronically submitting federally mandated health compliance documentation and tracking data. Over 10,000 veterinary practices in the U.S. and Canada rely on GVL’s expert system SaaS platform to streamline operations and comply with accreditation standards. All 50 states, the USDA, and the FDA rely on GVL’s data lakehouse and AI-based data analytics for advanced predictive analysis and real time disease propagation forecasting. Gary joined GVL in eaerly 2021 and doubled revenue and increased EBITDA by 20X GVL was backed by Lead Edge Capital, a leading growth equity firm, and was acquired by Alpine Investors in 2023.
Prior to GVL, Gary served as CEO of EngageWare, a leading customer experience management SaaS software provider to consumer retail. Gary joined TimeTrade in 2010 and transformed and repositioned the company to be a leader in customer engagement. During his tenure at the company, it acquired over 500 enterprise SaaS customers and helped brands like Nordstrom, J. Crew, Wells Fargo, Regions Bank, Best Buy, Staples, and many others creating a personalized shopping experience and durable customer loyalty. Gary grew Engageware from a small venture backed startup, to a sector leader and innovation leader in online appointment scheduling. Engageware was acquired by Clearhaven Partners in 2020.
Gary has been a product leadership executive in a series of groundbreaking companies that are making a difference to over 500 million high tech consumer product users today. Most of the WiFi products sold by Cisco, printer software that runs most HP all-in-one, printers, and digital copier products in the world from a range of manufacturers, and the software systems that deliver a great deal of streaming digital media watched on the web were conceived and commercialized under Gary’s leadership and product innovation direction.
Gary holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. He is an avid mountaineer and has completed ascents of Mt. McKinley (Denali), Mt. Ranier, Mt. Hood, Mt. Shasta and 24 other peaks in the U.S. and Canada.
Julie graduated from Merrimack College with a degree in business and marketing. She was founder of the leading nanny placement agency, Beacon Hill Nannies, placing nannies nationally with high profile clients in business and entertainment. Prior to that she was a stockbroker at Kidder Peabody. Julie is also a board member of the Dean Center for Tick Borne Illness at Mass General Hospital and plays an active role in advocacy for improved Lyme disease diagnostics and treatment. Julie and Gary have two children. Matt graduated from Denison University where he played football and works at Fidelity as a wealth advisor. Zach graduated from the University of Virginia where he played lacrosse and works at Oracle as an enterprise sales executive.
