Brent Blonkvist is an enthusiastic Christ follower, husband, father, entrepreneur and investor—endeavoring to prioritize in that order! He is a co-founder and managing principal at Palingen Capital, an evergreen holding company that partners with legacy-minded owners in the lower middle market. He most recently served as President of Odyssey, a media and technology company creating a space for more civilized conversation online. Brent is also a co-founder of The Long Drink Company, a refreshing citrus soda with a premium liquor kick from Finland, and a founding advisor at Avenir Growth Capital, a New York based growth equity firm. Brent started his career at HSBC, where he worked in the Structured Finance & Advisory group focused on the energy sector.

After spending a decade in New York City, Brent moved back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas in 2022 with his wife, Alex, and their two children, Clementine and Kit.  Since then, they have welcomed a third child, Lumina! They attend First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio.

Brent serves on the national board of Generous.Life (NYC) and Texas Biomedical Research Institute Founder's Council (San Antonio). He holds a B.S. in international business and finance from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
