Matthew Follett is the founder and president of Follett Investment Properties, Inc. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Utah, Matt began his career in the manufactured home land lease business in 1987 as a broker associated with First Union Investment. He founded Follett Investment Properties, Inc. in 1989 to specialize in the brokerage of manufactured home land lease communities. In 2000 and 2001 Matt was designated a "young lion" by the manufactured home industry for his dynamic growth and expansion of Follett Investment Properties, Inc. To date Matt has been directly involved in the ownership and management of over 60 communities with combined assets exceeding $400,000,000. In 2003 Matt added the development, management, and ownership of self storage projects to his business portfolio. For many years, Matt has supported the mission of Challenge Aspen, a non-profit organization that provides recreational, cultural, and educational experiences for people with disabilities, most recently as a member of the board of directors. Matt enjoys an active life which includes the pursuit of skiing, hiking, cycling, and golf. He also travels extensively, both domestic and international; "adventure" is his middle name! With four amazing children (two attending a University, one in private school, and the youngest at home), his life is filled with lots of love, laughter, and family time.
