Jennifer Kijumba

director of finance & administration

Jennifer serves as our Director of Finance & Administration. In this dynamic role, she supports Doug and PathNorth founder and board member, Bob Woody, a unique blessing that has enabled her to create and continue to write stories that she never gets tired of sharing. Stories of love, compassion, vulnerability, spiritual growth, failure, accomplishment and pure joy. 

Jennifer joined PathNorth after five years in the banking industry. In addition, she has more than six years of community development experience in Uganda that involved advocacy work, research; designing, monitoring and evaluating programs; poverty assessment and income generation projects; training and human resource development and coordination.

What is something about you that would surprise others? I grew up on a farm in Uganda and my favorite job was to help milk the cows.

What is your favorite PathNorth memory? When Tim Shriver spoke at the 2015 Annual Gathering about what it truly means to be fully alive. To this day, I cannot stop rereading his book 'Fully Alive.'

What is your top bucket list travel destination? The Great Pyramid of Giza. I love the fact that there are so many interesting facts about the pyramid that it baffles archaeologists, scientists, astronomers and tourists.
