I hope you are finding threads of gold in the midst of the dross. Challenging days, for sure. I often find myself complaining about social isolation. But what am I complaining about? Think about the Second World War—talk about challenging times. Those of Jewish descent hid in basements and attics of brave souls hiding them from Nazi invaders searching house by house to locate and imprison these vulnerable people. Their silent isolation often lasted for years and years with no internet or cable to distract. Crazy. So, Doug...stop complaining and be grateful!
On a more superficial note, I want to compile a PathNorth music playlist. Below, find some of my favorite songs of all types and genres. Music is helping many of us during these tough days. I challenge you to put together your list of songs as well and send them to us. It will be fun to see the songs that transport, comfort and inspire us. Send me a list of your favorite songs (10 or less) and the PathNorth team will create a curated playlist for us to share!
So...don’t judge me. (I didn’t include Marvin Gay’s masterpiece, Sexual Healing, for that reason...Oops, did I say that?) Let the games begin!
