October 10-11, 2019
PathNorth and Honorary Partner Ron Marks invite you into the world of espionage and national security. As a former CIA operative and Capitol Hill Staffer, Ron will facilitate a simulation of the president’s National Security Council.
During the simulation, participants will be divided into teams representing the State Department, Department of Defense and the FBI. You’ll be asked to respond with a reasonable policy response from your team’s viewpoint. Each team will coordinate with other teams and explain their decisions.
You will study your assignment as a representative in the U.S. government system, learn the challenges and pressures facing that role and the system as a whole, and work together as a group to overcome a looming threat to the U.S. Your team will be guided through the process by an expert who has held this position within the U.S. government.
Here at PathNorth, we talk about integrity and principles on an individual level, and reflect on past experiences that have influenced us. This simulation allows you to take this a step further and be challenged on the spot.
This opportunity is open to anyone regardless of experience or expertise.
Price per person is $750.
